At Kea Café, we prioritize organic and fair-trade ingredients whenever possible. Our signature coffee beans are ethically sourced from John Burton Ltd, a company dedicated to sustainability.

They produce coffee with respect for cultural, social, economic, and environmental principles, sourcing from 23 countries, supporting coffee-growing communities, and engaging in fair trade practices.

Their environmentally operations include sustainable shipping and packaging, with recyclable materials and waste repurposing. This commitment ensures our coffee is of the highest quality and aligns with our values of positive environmental impact

We are dedicated to minimizing single-use waste and ensuring that fewer takeaway cups end up in landfills each year. Our takeaway cups and lids are supplied by BioPak and feature an aqueous coating. This transparent, water-based lining applied to the paperboard makes the cups watertight, preventing leaks and sogginess while reducing emissions and material use. Additionally, our straws and packaging are eco-friendly and biodegradable, aligning with our commitment to sustainability.

At Kea Café, we encourage the use of reusable cups. We also have a dedicated "cubbie" for local reusable cups, ensuring our customers can easily participate in reducing waste.

Most Kea Café locations collect used coffee grounds, which are rich in organic matter beneficial for soil and plants. We divert these grounds from the landfill by making them available to customers who use them in their gardens.
